Camp Rock
Camp Rock is a Disney Channel Original Movie released in 2008 starring the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato. The film follows the story of a talented teenage girl and a hot-headed young pop star who‘s lost his passion for music and is sent packing to Camp Rock by his band mates. Together at the camp for aspiring young music artists, they learn to believe in themselves and to value the freedom to be who they really want to be – all to a rocking soundtrack.
In the UK Camp Rock attracted 2.4million viewers on its Disney channel premier weekend and in 2009 Camp Rock makes its terrestrial TV debut on the BBC. Camp Rock 2 has also been confirmed for Disney Channel Premier in 2010.
The Jonas brothers are a musical success in their own right with massive chart success in America and a squeaky clean image appealing to young teenage girls with a passion for pop/rock music.
